AME Is Officially a Nonprofit!

We are thrilled to share an important milestone with all of you. American Muslim Experience is now officially recognized as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. It has been a long road of discovery to get to this point and we just received our status update from the IRS this month. We are grateful to the team at Wildfire for helping us secure a fiscal sponsorship prior to this milestone and the mentoring assistance through the application process .

This important step in the AME’s journey allows us to expand our mission of sharing authentic stories, challenging stereotypes, and preserving the diverse experiences of American Muslims.

We are deeply grateful to every supporter, storyteller, volunteer, and partner who has been with us on this incredible storytelling adventure. Your encouragement and belief in the work made this moment possible.

With our new nonprofit status, you can now donate directly to AME. Your generous contributions go to helping us continue creating original photography and video, educational programs, and storytelling projects that build understanding and connection across communities.
